Jess Mackay

Jess Mackay is a Melbourne-based freelance writer, editor, and content creator. She holds a Fine Arts degree in Creative and Professional Writing, and Journalism, from the Queensland University of Technology.

Jess’ experience in the writing, publishing and media industries includes work as a content writer for Brisbane-based company Candid Content; a blogger, writer, and editor for Gold Coast print publication StartUp Creative, and a feature writer for Us Wayfarers. Jess has also worked as a freelance sub-editor for Sydney publication Rummage Magazine, and as a digital content intern for Brisbane based company Digital Conversations.

Jess has several years experience in learning to create a brand and create content that engages a community – both traditional and online. She hopes to gain more experience in all fields of publishing and content creation.
